I see myself putting my hands around her beautiful, hatefull neck..... But how could I.... I gave her Life... My daughter... I take a deep breath.... Count to 10.... Thinking back.... On how I was then.... Telling myself it's just a stage.... Her mouth runs without thinking.... Her attitude.... pours hate..... She is just like me.... at that age. Full of herself.... and with rage. Hard blue eyes.. Blonde, Beautiful.... I wish back....12,11,10,9,8.... But right now.... she's full of hate. I tell myself it will end.... She'll relize....I am a friend.... Not just her Mother....Filling her in. On life.... Always changing.... For us!!!! Love,Heart,Head,and Soul...For you Alexis I Love You!!!! |

He is 13 And both pleasure and pain Do I find as I rear him No two minutes the same The Stetson and Drakkar Oooze from beneath locked door And the clothes that I wash- Three outfits since Four! I love the humor you bring to this wonderful age! And I am thankful it is a 13 year old boy I have at this age right now, and not a girl! Bless you! It wasn't until I was 23 and had a child of my own that I claimed my mother again and befriended her. Grin - This too shall pass. |

It is such a hard and awkward stage in life. I remember when I was 13 and the attitude I had.. and the strong dislike for my mother.. and now, a mere five years later, and she truly is my best friend! Hang in there, it's worth it, and she'll thank you. |
