Midnight Saw Mill

I roam the night
I dream of flight
I need not a light.

I cut away limb after limb
Exposing a tall trunk.
Some might assume I to be drunk
Some might call me a punk.

Really it's a matter of staying alive and
warm all winter.

Why does he only work at night?

Why do they ask?

I was born to the night.
Note- I made this up just now. If anyone has some suggestions Id appreciate it.

May the winds sweep through the moonless sky....

Welcome to Piptalk! I enjoyed your first post. I imagine there are many in the world that would be thrilled to have the warmth provided by midnight saw mills.
