Scribe the circle thrice around, strike the chime three times the sound, a fifth of candles chosen well four at gates the fifth for tell, light the fires, draw the sign, state desires, sip the wine, free the scented blade of steel, rend the flesh to share the blood for journey stated, senses reel, need sent drawn from circle’s sand, behold the elemental is at hand, charge be told for plainest mind, close the gates, snuff the flames, describe the circle thrice in kind, thank the ever present names, strike the chime, as thoughts unwind bindings on live energy to set the elemental free. ©2005 by icebox |
