This doesn't happen often, I
tend to write my words with sigh
and yet today I have good cheer
so surely wee elf must be near.

I have looked in every box
even one containing socks
that doesn't seem to have a match
so help me find the whole danged batch!

Consider this a challenge that
will help to put a smile on me
I am in the mood for Elvish--see?
I WANT THE WEE ELF POETRY!

Consider it a challenge thus
let Tim know he's loved by us
for bringing us the elf of wee,
penned by Tim so lovingly.

just when I'm getting somewhere, I find I have to tend to my own wee elves, who btw, are not so wee as to be unable to cook their own dinner.
