Please, let us enjoy the joy
Of this glorious season
For to those who believe
We celebrate the reason

To those who don't believe
The way we who celebrate
Would you give us a little time
Without your reason for debate

For there is enough time
In this world in which we live
For the disagreements of belief
Of what we think is real

There is only this one season
When all who believe come out
To let their voice be heard
When of His birth they shout

The rest of time we are quiet
Most of us in the background
And of that I am ashamed of me
Of not making too much sound

For of what I believe in this world
Should be heard loud and clear
That would be a good resolution
To vow to shout it everywhere next year

Merry Christmas to you, Ethel!
Here's hoping you are able to enjoy and honor all of your chosen holy days with family and friends,
for that is what I believe the spirit of celebrating any holiday is about.
And for many, the beginning of Christ's earthly life is still the principal reason for this holiday.

(big angel hugs) Oh Ethel, I absolutely agree with you, and also believe that ever too often so many take for granted the values of this beautiful time of year; the meaning of giving, sharing, peace on Earth, and celebrating all we are blessed for and the company of our loved ones! (sigh) These are values that truly are universal and should be expressed year-round, so let's not only believe the reason...let's live it too, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

What can I say?

You see the world how it should be, Ethel.

If more of us had your heart, wouldn't be such a bad place sometimes.

Beautiful sentiments.
