I Lost My Mom Today

Mom, you always wanted to be a Mom
and have lots of children running around,
and with seven children you achieved your goal.
You were a good Mom, always there for me,
and you were a wonderful role model in devotion.
I am sad to lose my Mom, Evelyn, but I find comfort
in knowing that she will be reunited with her
husband Ernest, as her soul goes to live
eternally with her Heavenly Father.
Even though my Mom is gone from this Earth,
she will alwsys be in my heart.
Goodbye Mom, I love you, and I miss you.

Your son, James

(angel comfort and consolation hugs) Oh James, we're all here for you in comforting your heart of loss on this day, dearest friend, though I never got to know your mother, I know with all my heart she was a wonderful mom, as you share her golden heart and always write with heart, yay! God Bless You, sweet friend, your mother will always be remembered and her loving spirit will forever sing, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

James - I'm so sorry.  I lost my mom earlier this year as well - her next birthday would have been this week, and I find myself missing her terribly.

God Bless, and be as strong as she taught you to be...

JamesLee, I am so sorry for your loss.  She must have been a very good mom to have taught you so much about love, like you share her with your love poems.   ....jo

Wow, your poem gave me the chills. We all know how it feels to lose someone special, maybe not to your extent, but I can only imagine. I'm very sorry, hope you're doing alright.

James, after reading your poem, I read Honeybunch's one called The Dreamers Know.  I found it very calming.  I realise that you probably aren't up to reading much in these sad times, but please at least read that one.

James, the testament of a wonderful mother, is the love that her children have for her. Yes, indeed, your mother must have been deserving of such love and admiratiion from her son. God bless her ~ and you.

When I lost Daddy on November 13, you said your Mom was very ill... and that it helped to think that she'd be with your Dad again... I'm sorry your loss came so quickly... I know how much it hurts... even thinking of great loves reunited.

This is a beautiful tribute to your mom, James... I am so very sorry for your loss.
