Like walls that crumble in the stillness night
I fall to my knees, screaming out
to the dark and empty skies
as tears fall
from my eyes.

My heart weeps for the child
who does not know that love
is more than just four letters
and a word
that is seldom
ever heard.

I feel the twinge and twitch
of my heart beating
as I remember the soldier
who stands guard on the wall
so that his hopes; our hopes
and dreams
won't fall.

My spirit is burdened
knowing that somewhere
a mother lies praying
for faith to remain
within her sight~
to know where her child
is tonight.

Tilting my head to the darkened skies
I ask these questions of how, and why.
Void of the spirit of the season
my soul doesn't quite
comprehend all of the reasons

for this bouleversement

of life
where is harbored
such strong need
to luxate all of         these
atrocities;
until we bring again unto this world
humility..

Soon, very soon,
it will be Christmas day

so tonight, I fall on my knees to pray
"tonight, oh Creator I would only ask
this
of thee..
please.....bless the world
with precious love and peace"......

{holiday ramble, rewritten, and dedicated this year, to those who give their all, so that we
might be safe....}
12-10-05}

Come read to me some poem,
Some simple and heartfelt lay,
That shall soothe this restless feeling
And banish the thoughts of day.
Longfellow

seek the flame within yourself
and let your soul be cleansed by
the fire of love.  Axel Ekenstierna

(angel comfort hugs) Oh Donna, I share these sentiments your golden heart feels ever soooooooo much, sweet friend, I plainly find it ridiculous that we still have many children in the world, even here in the US, who don't have guidance, shelters, food stamps, health care, anything of that sort, and this hypocrisy is just astounding to me on all levels in that one of the central ethics of Christmas and the holiday season is giving and sharing, and especially with the children being the future, their future is literally being robbed of them and that is the ultimate tragedy and heartache of this time of year! (wipes tears) God Bless You, sweet friend, you are a true, compassionate, loving voice of conscience, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
