Silence of the White

This in the four, in  the silence of white
Dwell I in the facets that sparkle the night
Lightness of touch, coolness in sight
Eying  the sky with a child's mind, delight.

I think of you often, maybe a bit on the much
With thoughts incomplete watching window breath touch
Wondering how do you look in the whiteness so bright
As I lose dreamsleeping to view mind's invite.

And I wish for what isn't and I wish for what might
For now my eyes close in the pretense of write...

oh I couldn't sleep all night just kept waking up and looking outside to see how much had fallen,
and each time I kept wanting more!

Very nicely penned M.  Don't get to cold or stiff digging out.
