For don’t you see . . .
We can go
To our secret place
Anytime we want

There
By the lake
With the sun stars
And moon silently looking on
We can walk stand
Or lie by each other’s side

And who’s to say
Be it from reason wisdom or enmity
That such things should not be done

Cast out of Eden
Even God
Allowed Eve and Adam
The solace of their dreams

Thank you for this, John.
It's beautiful in its simplicity.
