Lovers Star

I gazed upon a lover’s star
Star lights the way to past
Past and dreams of you
You left much to fast

The dreams we shared
Shared dreams of bliss
Bliss consumed our hearts
Hearts sharing special kiss

The thought of you
You are my all
All moments we shared
Shared with you I recall

You will always be my beacon
Beacon of guiding light
Light the pathway back
Back to you each night

Give to me your heart dear
Dear hold my heart near
Near to yours I pray
Pray that God will hear

The time has come to part
Part from you again
Again I say goodbye
Goodbye my lover my friend
