Listening to every heart

Souls Like Crystal Snowflakes

Just a few short hours ago,
During midnight it chanced to snow
And early, around 3:00 a.m. or so,
I awoke to a glisten of glow.

There was no sound, no apparent life,
As only in a fairy tale’s dream,
Imagine souls like crystal snowflakes,
Come to dance upon my scene.

For there was a sparkle all around
And lo, over the land covered white,
The skies had cleared and the moon abound,
Snowflake souls and I, alone in this night.

For each flake was a spirit of one
Before it joined its companions white
And like my world, they all joined in
United, to make things ensue just right.

So may souls like crystal snowflakes
Thrive round you this year;
And keep in mind during summer;
Rainbows will keep them here.

Now is that was not the sweetest poem I will read I don't know what it - I loved the concept of snowflakes being souls - and will pass that along to two very wide-eyed children I know that are going to love that idea as well.  Of course they will slide down that rainbow in the summertime having fun I think?

Karilea...I've never read a more beautiful poem about snow. I love it but here down South we hardly get to see any.

Thanks for sharing this treasure with us...Paul

Landing here Sunshine

Bugs get the weekend to exercise

I get the snow flurry for the car

And everything else

And yes I know
