Scream Of Silence
By Paul Wilson

I just want to
scream
Help Me Please
Emotions boiling
inside
like Old Faithful

Pounding…pounding
inside my mind
The clock is ticking
Or is it my heart
Skipping
Every other beat

Squeeze the Lemon
one more time
The Turnip
has
no more blood
to give

Let me wilt
and turn brown
like last years
flowers
covered by the
cold frozen ground

The knead of dough
yet to rise
Words I feel
but cannot give
birth
to

I just want to
scream
Till my heart
Explodes
And these words
set me
FREE

Yanno what Paullie? We should organize a "collective" scream.

I've been known to indulge in just such a release m'self. Not just New Orleans, mind you. I'm talking about everybody, everywhere--anybody who is ticked off about anything simultaneously screaming at the top of their lungs.

We could do it yanno.

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

It would be worth it just to hear the inevitable laughter that would follow.

Y'made me feel it.

Yup...just to let it all out. Tis a good thing....long as the neighbour's aren't sleeping.
Well said Paul. hugs, Chris

Karen...A group scream, thats an idea, we could all blow out our vocal cords all at the same time and drink a Hot Toddy to mend our sore throats.

I guess the Orange festival is out of the question this year. I'm sure gonna miss not having some of those good Plaquemine Parish oranges to eat for a while unless the Becnels in Belle Chasse have some for sale.

Thanks for spending part of your Saturday with me listening to a bunch of bull...Paul
