~~~~~~
Tickle me
with your laughter
Pamper me
with your charms
Dazzle me
with your manliness
Then release me
from your arms.
Caress me
with your words
Warm me
with your smile
Heal me
with your sweet kiss
Then leave me....
for awhile.
As if
I should be waiting
Alone
On some mountain top
Pining for her favors
Until she calls me up
All the while
These other flowers
Wanting and waiting to be plucked
My advice to such romance
When she partakes the happy cup
Is check the label
On the bottle
Before you bother
To make an order
And even then
When you tipple-
Please more water
With the scotch
pictureme & jo - thankyou for reading and commenting my friends. Hugs!
John - I think you have turned the meaning of my poem around, but that is what writing is all about I guess. Making one ponder and dream. Thankyou for reading and replying.
Congrats on your 13,000...each has been a morsel to savor for all of us.
Enjoyed the playfulness of this piece...
portraying the author as I see her...
sparkling.
I luv it!  Chris, I'd say you've out done yourself except this is a repost that I missed the first time out.  A million thanx for reposting such a lovely piece
P.S.  This is better than any RX I could have ever written!
(sigh) Oh Chris, I know just what you mean, dearest friend, I agree very much with the saying, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder", for I have yet to meet my dream girl 22 years into my life and my love for her and feelings for her are stronger than ever, and now I swear when I do meet her I'll be holding her close ever so much, and indeed every little absence now and then each day I feel is necessary only to show just how much you love the person with your all! (smiles) I love this, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Chris, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Love,
Noah Eaton
