Dang that Cindy!

All I want for Christmas
is a play day with my BBQ!!!
Laughing with friends and my kin,
maybe a few oil rich men,
but she won’t leave me be!

Can't somebody get that she-devil offa me???
And those miserable beggars from the south
who keep on taunting me day and night
about the bed and breakfast Inns and outs
and how they can’t see my POV,
you know, can’t seem to follow my mind's eye
to the end of my golden tunnel's light?
(Never mind where it resides)
It makes me wanna twist ‘n shout
stomp my feet, really shout

HEY!
I’m the damn PRESIDENT!

Yer supphose to support me,
~RESPECT me~
even when I speek incorrectedly
about Nukeyoularity.

Dang that Cindy!

I almost had ‘em all covered,
the whole dang country,
with my well-oiled presidential manure
when lo and behold
the beholders came and went
then here came that whiney old gal
with her evil pitchfork!!!!

All I want for Christmas
is a dang rib-bustin BBQ.
Is that too much to ask????

It is a sad day when the Commander-in-Chief can not empathize with the widow of one of his men.  Well done, Kacy.  Ken

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

I have heard he's already sauced.

and OH Kacy, how I wish you would come to New Orleans.

The writing material for political satire would be such a feast for you!

Well, I'll be Belushi, if you'll be Gilda. (Not only have I gained weight, but I am getting hairier too.)

Kacy

All comments I have should probably be directed to the Alley forum, or perhaps Grok-

But I will say that I admire your poem, even though it expounds on subjects aligned with my disgust..linguistic buffoonery and incompetent leadership.
