I am not sure why this bothers me so
I didn’t know
And you didn’t tell me
Once we were close

I miss the conversations
But not the way it hurt
To know it was best left to another life

Your words

Inspired
A world of lace
Stories of harsh weather
And undying love

I always loved a good story
Yours were no exception

I hope that your uncertainties
Become certain with a happy ending
Leaving you time to come back

To tell me a story or two

and make sure that a warm fire is burning
so that the glimmer of your eyes can be
seen.   Nicely done, enjoyed this Susan.

(angel friendship hugs) Awwwwwwww, this is a most wonderfully, thoughtful letter, dearest friend, I certainly wish this to come true and you both can find happiness and maybe there can come a day when you can both meet and share these stories with one another as good friends, yay! God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

this was the mist of love reaching out in forgiveness and understanding....

wonderfully written Susan, as only you can do,,,with those great big eyes in your heart...and a very large and lovely forehead.

I've heard some of those "stories", too, Susan.
That's why I'm so leary sometimes, I think?
Hugs, you

Yep, have to nod right along too.

This actually made me smile thinking of those times . . .

*cough* ah...LeeJ?  Are you sayin' I have a big forehead??  Hoenestly, it's not mine!

LOL

Ethel, I do love ya!

Sue, it was written for someone that has disappeared without so much as a "Thank you for being a friend and I will miss you"...just a painful ripping away.  Didn't seem right.

Thank you all for taking the time to read my meager offerings.

Many seem to like your last four lines and I'm no exception.  This is a very telling story of love, separation and hope for a return.  Well done! Ken

I am so sorry Susan, that is a horrible thing to do.

It was your words, and how you explained the storytelling and learning and teaching that caused me to smile.  Having THAT - made me smile.

What was done to you was indeed, very wrong.

the name of this one drew me in
reminds me of an old love story with a
end that seems sad but later turns out to be a blessing in disguise
