Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2005-11-24 05:15 AM

Oh, these lips of endless want,
desire not to be left untouched,
winters' breath steals thier warmth,
as I sip from loves'smoldering cup,
beauty speaks through words unspoken,
with eyes that pierce ,the darkest,of night,
Loves lingering melody,
plays unbroken, I become powerless,in thy sight,
Oh, these rosy lips, shaped like cupids bow,
await thy eternal kiss, only onto them,
your affection,bestow,
Time is the thief of love,
stealing without remorse,
it is no friend to woman, or man,
lover or child, robbing the heart of soul,
set upon lifes charted course,
if loves' grasp clinches ever so tightly,
to where my breath ceases no more,
then allow me to die, content,
knowing the one eternal kiss,
was woth ten-thousand, and more.

One such love’s kiss contains all there is, the beauty of love and life, happiness and contentment.
It is truly worth ten thousand or more. It lies hidden within the ever surging waves of understanding, compassion and respect.

Beautifully written, ARH, loved the poem.

The joint embrace of lover’s lips
The warmth as inner passion grips
The inner smile and inner glow
That is what we all should know

The taste of want that two do share
Flirting with it here and there
In the light and in the night
Let’s practice till we get it right

Much enjoyed your words, thank you for sharing part of your passion, it was well reflected.

Sincerely
Rick

I’m pretty sure Bill would have found a way
to put this in a play
