If I were to write your epitaph
I know, dear friend, that you would laugh
because I would say, how special you are
and how you're so loved by those, near and far.

No one woman could hold you, of course it's true
but yet; still the same, all women do.
With just a thought you often brighten the day,
cherished, in hearts of many you will always stay;

and I know that even from the grave
you would be treasured for all that you gave
so yes, dear friend, you may laugh
but every word would ring true,

if I were to write your epitaph.
