the lies she believed

deception from conception
fated to be
never
good
enough
its not just you
no one will ever be
so do oh do stop trying
it is so much easier to bear
when you learn
not to care

formation defines destruction
built up
to
be
torn
down
do oh do my dear
stop getting back up
you must agree it is so very  foolish
so much easier it is
to bear if you would please
learn
not to care

love turned hate
it is not wrong
it
is
called
surviving
do oh do stop crying
your sobbing it does bother so
that shattered piece is not your heart
it is only in your head you see
and it is ever so much easier to bear
when you teach yourself
not to
care
