As I wait, for you to enter my life.
Each moment stabs at me like a knife.
As I wait, for you to walk through that door.
My world is nothing but a down pour.
As I wait, for your shadow to appear.
I try not to shed a single tear.
As I wait, for us to be more.
I anticipate what could be in store.
As I wait, for you to call me yours.
Nervous sweat seeps out my pores.

As I wait, for the courage to kiss you.
As I wait, and pray you think the same, too.
As I wait, my heart is breaking in two.

And so, I'll forever wait for you to be mine.
For the sun in my world to finally shine.

But please, don't make me wait too long.
I don't know how much longer I can be strong.

It's evident, you were the one in my dreams.
My feelings are right, or so it seems.

I still believe in the little thing called fate.
And so I sit here, and patiently...wait.

Sometimes fate comes to you, and sometimes you have to look for it.....most times though, all you need is to be open....to notice-notice-notice everything....because it's there for you already, or will be soon.
