Forget life’s rewarding pleasures,
they mean so little to me,
for all this heart truly treasures,
lies there, deep within thee.

Some long to reach and touch the stars,
yet others to gaze upon celestial skies,
time is measured to some in hours,
yet to others through love’s goodbyes.

A few wish to bridge the oceans,
others to conquer mountain’s crest,
yet to others there is love’s emotions,
which proves to be the ultimate test.

Some strive for fame and fortune,
admirable to those who hath achieved,
yet either is purposely outdone,
by the hearts whom love hath conceived!

Jared~
You grabbed me ...
wrapped me in the beauty of your words~

THIS ... THIS ...

'Some long to reach and touch the stars,
yet others to gaze upon celestial skies,
time is measured to some in hours,
yet to others through love’s goodbyes.'

THIS is as tenderly lovely as it gets~
Thank you for a misty-eyed remember~
