A Seem

A Monday seemed a Sunday
And the dew a comely green
A linger filled my mind that day
Just to stay within the scene

I wondered towards the window
Exposed my eyes the mornings sun
And slowly watched the dawn in glow
And in that moment we were one

I drifted out the window pane
Without the signing of a lease
Without the heavy weight of sane
And found a moments cloak of peace

A Monday seemed a Sunday
And the dew a comely green
I lingered in my mind that day
Just to stay within the scene

I’m sure it was desires coup
But what a feeling, what a view

Sy, this is so lovely...
Think I'll sit here awhile
and look out the window with you.
Hugs~Nancy

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...

Lovely write.  It's amazing what one can see when looking out a window.

I sure like your lingering write and it will linger in my library for as long as Ron allows us to have libraries.  Happy Thanksgiving, Sy!   .....jo
