I Bow

I bow to the wind of the moving hand
The one that sprinkles time and sand
The one that plays the song of life
Or was the singing from my wife?

I bow to the light of the day
To the morning dew that slips away
Each breath of breathe that makes the weave
Each touch that stays my minds believe

And though I dance the fifers rumble
I lean to humble not to stumble
And listen to the birds and bees
And watch each breeze that bends the trees

I wash my body in the rain
And do my best to rule and reign
To share the wealth of what I do
To share the time of what is true

Bow with me the flow of source
And you will steer a steady course

I enjoyed this spirited write very much! ~ So much so, that I am adding it to the book of poems that I have been saving of yours!

And I bow to you dear Sy.
This beautiful piece reminded me of the Golden Rule.
~Hugs to you on this wonderful Sunday. Nancy~

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...

You know ... I think this will become my all-time favorite of yours Sy.  It epitomizes all that I think you stand for actually.  Here I read the softness, wisdom, integrity of you.  I feel all the feelings of a man who is not afraid to share them.  This my friend is being kept as of today as a constant reminder that my life became better having met you and Isabel. Thank you for your brain exercises m'friend.
