She wonders across the world,
As a shadow would it’s portrayer-
nor is she lost but looking for
the shadow’s death, amongst darkness,
Like a rose she blushes crimson-
scented like the fresh morning’s air
cold but pure bound into togetherness.

Like an emotionless beast,
I am that all remains after love-
the very simplest of the minds
without feeling comes great awareness,
Yet she has wondered into my desolate place-
and began to weed the roots of my pain
tearing up the memories with each tear to it’s name.

I am no more the beast I once was;
The fur from my skin has been stripped and worn-
now she owns a part of me so I have leaped
into that place of love again and failed to be alone,
That wondrous feeling of want from the touch-
that travels through the shivers of a random reaction
causing an whole new warmth to replace the old.

A rose, a petal, in paleness of skin,
where the body pines to be more beautiful-
Art thou to me, that me art to thou
a youngling still questioning the questionable,
Yet shuddered with the mention of been young-
as if insulted by the tongue of an age older
be it not that age is knowledge from experiences.

The butterfly which grew from the other,
is sooner filled again with outer beauty-
for its soul hath wondered free to the world
beyond my desires thou art more than a shell,
Those beyond the world which we know-
hath grown beyond that thought of beauty
and become attuned to that of the mind.

The chill of the winters wind,
Travels from place to place-
Now she’s nowhere to be found
she’s wondering once again,
And all my crowded thoughts become none-
yet a smile is left from
the memories that always hold us.

Lee~

I enjoyed reading your wandering ink~

'I am that all remains after love'

The above line struck a chord within the music of many souls~
