The Weight of Time

My back is bent the weight of time
The bells now sound a mellow chime
This flower fades its summer bloom
It nears the time of it’s consume

The process is a pot of be
Depending on the plot you see
Acceptance is a bed of earth
The mulch of which will set new birth

I found a wife of full embrace
Sweet and sour rose and lace
Did the all that must be done
Had two daughters and a son

Swam the pond from end to end
Continued on each rivers bend
I also searched the inner core
And could not find the evermore

This flower bends the weight of time
The bells now sound a mellow chime

Sy?
I do so enjoy
when we travel
the same pathways
of emotions....

The word serenity comes to mind -- as in the acceptance of things one cannot change...  And so, another thing that cannot change is the crafted flow, intent, and style of your words...  May they find the evermore in the hearts of all who read them...  I count myself among the lucky who have been touched by them.

The circle of life is so well planned, it is a pleasure to be in it with you, dear man.
