This throbbing ache, consequences
of a quest, a seeking of that which
mesmerizes, fantasizes, yet remains
illusive . . . and parched lips thirst
of the silver stream of water’s
sweet salvation.

Sequestered, craving the quell of
a fire that rages amongst the primal
fold, basking upon the chill of dark
indigo air, breathed laboriously,
captivating in it’s flow and weave
within bones which feel the sinuous
stretch of outreached anorexic
arms.

Yet then, when a groping grasp feels only the
coolness of unseen air...and a hunger
of desperation grows into a raging
twist of a river’s bend, shall the
completeness of a meteoric crescendo
bring an unearthly calm to veins that
pulse of a moment only seen once
before . . .

In mountainous swells of dreams.

I know I am in for a stirring of my emotions in one way or another, no matter what you write!

...of dreams...y'had me goin' there, fella-- you must be a poet or something!

Still going, in fact; now drifting back along a sequence of dreams I've had during my life, that goes back more than four decades, and the latest of them about two hours ago....
