When Was The Last Time You Looked Up?

Copyright 2005 by:  Mark V Sheldon

Does no one observe
Our skies anymore?
One can’t be reserved
When it’s shore to shore:

Skies of bright turquoise
Divided by lines
Spewing without noise
From planes with no signs

Within but a minute
They widen their path
The blue lost within it
A strange aftermath

And they’re not the contrails
They’d have us believe
No, these lines aren’t frail
We’re being deceived

For how could a contrail
Just not go away?
What would it entail
To blur out the day?

“X’s” now criss-cross
Above our town skies
And what is the cost
To our health from these lies?

Just type the word “chemtrail”
And see what you find
It’s not for the frail
It might blow your mind…

Well said m'friend.
Hugs~Nancy

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...

well when I looked up last I was on my way home from  subbing yesterday and the sun was a ball of orange fire setting and  within minutes  across the way where the sky was darkening  rose a full moon as  white as could be ..it was a beautiful sight.

Guess I am not out enough to catch anything else lately~~

I forgot to reply to this the first time I read it. Mark, hope your holidays are cozy.

But I sure enjoyed Daves reply

maybe we could call them
dirty rat tails?

I notice those contrails all the time.  But until now I've never given them much thought.  Thanks for the "heads up" Mark.

Yes, Mark..I've noticed and wondered about them.  Interesting, this poem and thought.

Hi, Mark! Contrails can look so beautiful as they streak a cerulean sky ~ but as you have poetically pointed out, they contain all sorts of polutants and toxins which then fall to earth. ~ Sort of a wolf in sheep's clothing scenario.

May 2006 be one of peace, love, health, harmony and joy,

You have reminded me to look up and the sky has certainly always been beauty in my eyes but you have opened mine! I agree....it will blow your mind! Thanks for reminding me!

Happy Holidays everyone!  I hope you're all well, healthy, safe, and enjoying peace, family, and friends.  Thanks for your thoughtful comments and responses -- I had already forgotten about this poem from a little while back, so thank you for resurrecting it because it brings up a VERY important issue and example of a bigger picture than most of us could ever fathom...  So much questionable stuff is being done in front of our very faces every day, and so few of us question or research anymore.  What better place to hide something than out in the open, right?  In any case, the intent here was to hopefully stir some thought, debate, reaction, and observation regarding one tiny drop of dubious evidence in an ocean of Matrix-like unbelievabilities...  As some of you may have discovered upon doing a search for the term "chemtrails", there is a plethora of information out there regarding this topic, and like anything on the Internet, some is Truth, much is lies, and much is disinformation and half-truths -- the most dangerous kind...  I leave it to your intuition, wisdom, and curiosities to look into this further, for there is much, MUCH more to it than first meets the eye.  Just stay open-minded and in a positive frame of mind, and let the balance of your logic and heart guide you to the Truth and inspire some kind of action.  Peace to you all, and thanks again for caring.

-MVS
