a returning to ink
the pen and parchments
uncover my overflow of thoughts
how can i match up these building blocks
the same sized world , stacked in neatness of memory
who turns the tide on this earth and moon
how it is at all possible ...the magnitude
it is breathing life
the plants and soils are parents to you
and the stars around the moon
all friends many, many  miles away
watching as we watch
waiting for words unspoken
a magic , an awe....a purpose i seek
yet so hard to find , as it fly's out of my hands
for a second i held it,  an answer was there
like seeing the formula, our saving grace
with a blink it all vanished in the magnetic push and pulls of our galaxy
where will this pathway lead to ?
to another doorway locked with the dust of lost ages
It runs in reverse ......
as first becomes last and last becomes first
the smart figures that were made in the start of our time
unravel into blank pages , now filled with rhyme
they guessed and created the how's and why's
forgot the answers are the love in your eyes
could these mystery's be hidden for reasons and more reason
as the world turns older and wiser with each new season

In awe everytime I read you... hugsss you

There are moments when speech
is but a mouth pressed lightly and
humbly against the angel's hands

smiling here, at the beauty of this quest of yours
and I hope you are right, that an aging world will move towards lofty heights of wisdom rather than bigger dirt piles of stupidity
it's always enjoyable reading you, wolfie

Excellent write with much to ponder...
Hugs~Nancy

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...

Llllllllllove it!  It is a delight to discover another such optimistic (and, in my opinion, a realstic) outlook on life.

Sorry, I have already replied to your poem, but forgot to add it to my library and don't know how to do it without doing so from a reply.

It could be yes, and especilly important not to "forget the answers are the love in your eyes".  This is a wonderful, pondering and wise poem.  Thank you for writing it!

Wolf

"how it is at all possible ...the magnitude
it is breathing life
the plants and soils are parents to you
and the stars around the moon
all friends"

Exactly, and all things are threads in the broad cloth of existence...every thing is related, but unfortunately not relative...

"for a second i held it,  an answer was there
like seeing the formula, our saving grace
with a blink it all vanished in the magnetic push and pulls of our galaxy
where will this pathway lead to ?

I believe each of us stands at the center of the universe...in every direction there is equal space between us and infinity... as all paths and lines by physics are curved, it seems logical that if we travel far enough we will return to the exact spot that we stand on , the center...

Somewhere along that path lies the answer to your question...don't give up, keep following it...

"could these mystery's be hidden for reasons and more reason
as the world turns older and wiser with each new season"

They seem to be hidden from us now, but not from all...I believe you will find these reasons if you continue on your vision quest..

Perhaps an elder, First Nation shaman is waiting for you somewhere to interpret your dreams...if you find him, please let me know what he says...

Reading this I feel the same spiritual movement that I witness when I read Black Elk or those like him...

Thank you
