We’re bored . . .

There’s just no sport
When all they think
Is how they deserve no better

Going on about their sins
However wronged by man or friend
Caesar mob or mother

Forgiving this and blessing that
Seems at times so full of it
As fated them for fodder

Trumpets sound
The drummers roll
Folly calls for carnival

Let’s see what’s there
For animals—

Oh Lord . . .
Not more Christians
For supper
