Six over the sycamore
fly away fly away,

blue mountain grows
from the side pocket
of the speechless stream,

make mine a double
no twist,

leaf littered floors
and i'm dancing solo,

the clouds hijacked
my shadow,

sunday sonata
in silence,
just the crinkle crinkle
as they tease me,

my fingers playing catch
but nothing sticks today.....

26 circles round the old oak;

should I stay or should i go?

(raking the leaves of indecision)

And the leaves say
From where they lay
Just don’t wait
Until it’s over

I like this. I'm still catching up with a line or two, but then it's Autumn. Nice. Bob

If it were me, I would just let the leaves blow.

Love this one Michele..
It was very windy here today...
and I watched as the leaves danced freely down the street.
Hugs~Nancy

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...

As long as we keep raking, we don't have to decide anything.  Nice metaphor, I enjoyed this.  Ken
