Three Words, Three Wishes

Petal by petal, in the pull of deep fall
Once delicate wings flutter not, not at all
Pink, softly scents quick awakening in
Moments blushed cover modestly tender new skin

The pale moon of winter calmly waits for the frost
Counting silver as bounty for a summer now lost
Bringing closer a fire in repeal of dismay
In reverse of discomfort rhyming withers away

Yet her hand to his heart the augment of a sigh
Warm beneath humming oils this inaudible cry
To be heard in a touch speaking solely to soul
And restored shards of crystal into wishes three fold

Of two planes came together looking down in her eyes
From the sky and the water moved the earth in surprise
Lasting long into seasons, and much to her delight
Came the answers to questions held close in the night

two planes came together . . .
From the sky
and the water moved the earth in surprise

How do you do it?  You create the most lovely images rapped in beautiful meter and rhyme.  Simply wonderful, my friend!

TD,
So glad I stopped in!  Your words are so masterfully written with color, rythym, alliteration, assonance, etc.  Some day I hope to feel the texture of the pages your words fall upon!

Just had to come back and file it in the big room.  Thanks for the pleasant melody.

Excellent piece of work here Kathleen.
So very much enjoyed reading you, as always.

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...
