Floating down
The Amazon
As it does
All lit up and full of noise
It draws no comment from the natives

This
Is very strange
For in the jungle it’s a sign
That something
Is lurking in the shade

So we watch and listen
With experienced caution
Calmly
As this gaudy boat
Approaches the shore

Making sure
Our stores are secure
And guarded against a raid

Sir Peter's ship was not gawdy, not noisey or all lit up...yet there is an undercurrent within this write of yours which haunts me, reminding me of the fate of the Seamaster Dec 2001. /pip/Forum93/HTML/003234.html
