When you make peace with authority
you become authority
said the lizzard king

now
snakes everywhere
bite their eggs alive

And if for some reason
the gathering will hold you back
take hide in the lines below

Mystic indians
and threeworks
all immaculate, together

(big angel hugs) Wow, this is a poignant and powerful debut, sweet friend, the main challenge is how peaceful the authority is themselves that determine if this peace or stability will last, which is indeed the great challenge for us all, yay, I love this, welcome to Passions! I can't wait to read more of your wonderful poetry, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ghost, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Tank you, Angel and Susan.

There's a reference here to Jim Morrison (the lizzard King) - I tried to expand on that theme.

Interesting poem...being from the 'hippie' generation, I see that most of my peers have 'become' what they fought against!

Welcome to the family...I look forward to reading more from you.
