My Dreams Departed With You We would chat for many hours Love flowing heart to heart You wishing me sweet dreams Every time you had to depart Why had those fun times gone They became less and less I now find no reason for dreams It left the feeling of emptiness I never understood your silence It all happened so suddenly Now the nights upon my pillow It's tears I have wept silently I still have those fond memories After all we had been through Still sleep is a thing of the past My dreams departed with you Hope ©2005 Link to poem with music and graphic below http://www.thestarlitecafe.com/poems/94/poem_792368.html |
