two 'keets in a cage
fly about in a rage
midnite takes heed,
urgent need for seed
heads out the door
to the nearest store,
for no one can think
or enjoy a good drink
when two 'keets
screech nonstop in a rage

while three fish in a tank
fin me off as they swim about,
say their owner is rank
cuz their tank stank
and their lights are burned out,
but at least they don't shout
as they swim and jump about

back to my wine
now that feathers and fins
have been cared for again

*my just-a-grin write*

Kacy

I know this feeling....I have two coniers and a parrot that let me know their needs without hesitation.  I enjoyed this...cheers to ya!

See now I could have sworn you have a teenager at home. So do you do all the chores? 'Cause I'm pretty hungry.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
