Often

I often turn a page of read
And think upon its planted seed
The pros and con of Avalon
The white and black of human swan

Proselyte the will and be
Horizons of the open sea
The obligate of whale and sail
The nuance of our wail and bail

But in the dark I found the mean
Within a dream the sorted scene
The rose of red within my bed
Those touch my senses till I’m dead

And I am satisfied the wile
The innocuousness of style
The infinity of store
And evermore of metaphor

I sleep my way to Shangri-la
Each night the door is left ajar

I see you skill and expression continues to excel
Always a pleasure to read,
And ponder the deep sweet thoughts of your mind

... the door is left ajar ... yes, just so.

And your readers too are always satisfied with what you have to offer, more than that, it's always a delight to read you, dear Seymour!

Love and hugs.

Did I ever tell you how much you make me smile each morning?

Well ya do  yanno?!

Thank you for this lovely piece you have gifted us with this morn.

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...

Lovely Seymour.
Might I join you and my sister for a spot of tea? Thankyou.

Sunshine,
Haven't been answering because I have a miserable cold and cough. But you still are my sunshine.

Wonderful write Sy. To spend time in dreaming is a wonderful thing if you aren't delerious or dying. I had a problem with wile in line thirteen, I kept wanting it to be while. But maybe that's just me. Excellent job with word use.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
