Simple rhymes
and magic moons
that court me
through frosted windows,

and sky eyed boy
meets brown braid girl,

first dance
field picked flowers
blue taffeta sash
and whirl around
gymnasium floors,

and things never change
when i'm swooning to frankie's tunes,

a broken heart plays mute
to the tick of clock
and 15 and 50 just intertwine,

and the brooklyn bridge
is the timeline back
to boys like you,
that became men that who,
remind and rewind
of falsetto tunes,
when life gets lousy
and sings the blues,

so now i'll thank the gods
for frankie V.
to whom this girl
will forever swoon.
***********************************************

for frankie valli and a sky eyed boy i once knew.

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?

Oooh, I had such a mad crush on Frankie Valli !! If we weren't dancin' to his tunes...we were roller skating to them. Ah, memories. Thankyou for this Michele.
hugs, Chris

Something about a month of silence will do that.

Music is like that,
swinging across the bars
just so...

I enjoyed this, Michele!
