I cast not the shadows, I walk amongst them, unseen
I speak not the whispers, the talk comes from them, unheard;
I touch not the sorrows, I know them far too well, living;
I can walk, talk and touch the depths that swell upward
Pushing the Devils playground of deceit, crime and drugs,
Solitarily I can not do much, except cry inward,
And come to the desperate sound with naught to give but a hug
And a hope of better tomorrows, but I know too well, living,
There will still be whispers, unheard,
There will still be shadows, unseen,
For me to enter and dwell within, unknown.

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...
