Far from where I am going

0 posted 2005-11-03 11:01 PM

Your word drawn blade tongues
cut deep past the fabric of plaster
that houses.... it houses your anger
pains my ears
pains my heart
to the point of relinquishing beating
my mouth, wordless, rambles incoherently
the toxic stench of hate cry's
sepps through my barricade
solace could never be attained
no, not tonight.
Bright, wide eyed burning glares
in a late evening showdown
lining a sharpshooter from across the hallway
yet the culprit, the cause, ceases to reveal
his nonexistant caring
flamboyant arrogance and "smarter-than-you" lies
brings about mental screams whispering through eyes
and assignment unfocus
My normalcy of understanding and easy going
now overshadowed by exasperated contempt
and growing anxiety

(not a big fan of the parent screams)

nice use of muffin
