Avowal
By: Noah Eaton
11/2/05

Avowal,
incubates the cocoon we hold,
home to a thousand creations,
each one possessing a life of its own.
Avowal,
a flaming desire enigma,
its acknowledge is answered,
in ambrosiac stamina…

How it struck me like a scalpel,
in the shape of your body...

You came to me, came to me,
young, restless, fervid,
your philanthropy washed over me, washed over me,
with an incandescent burning,
I’m feeling you with every white blood cell in my body,
you’re the only definition of meaning to me,
you presented your word to me with your steaming mouth,
stole my breath, let all your grace gleam out.

Avowal,
glamorizes the truth,
burns like bergamot on my cheeks,
every time I think of you.
Avowal,
it swallowed me whole,
reason and gravity stand still,
as my intrinsic motivation explodes.

How it struck me like a scalpel,
in the shape of your body...

You came to me, came to me,
young, restless, fervid,
your philanthropy washed over me, washed over me,
with an incandescent burning,
I’m feeling you with every white blood cell in my body,
you’re the only definition of meaning to me,
you presented your word to me with your steaming mouth,
stole my breath, let all your grace gleam out.

I’m going to let my gratitude ring,
from the highest bell tower in the world,
so you can feel the conferral,
beyond my lungs alone.
Golden waves of static from your fingertips,
coruscate across my veins,
you share your viridity as nectarine,
it keeps me whole, it satiates.

Avowal,
glamorizes the essence of two,
all that you believe in me,
all that I believe in you...

Aha! So this is what you were talking about!

Now this is what I would call a steamy avowal! I felt the stirrings of your sap, dear sapling! She better come in to your life pretty soon or you are going to make Mount Vesuvius look like a mole hill!

I hope that you will be posting more, my friend! I've been missing your poetry and your presence here at Pip!

To love and romance!
Linda
