Instinct told me she was near.
I felt those familiar wisps of gossamer,
Diaphanous threads of the finest claret and flax,
Spinning a tangled web of love around me.

I could smell a surreal sweetness in the air.
A once familiar scent that now sadly had become so vague
Wafted by as I caught her scent of yesterday.
~ SHE ~
Busied herself creating this special mood,
Spinning a wondrous web of wonder
On this miraculous new day.

It was in that instant I sensed it.
That lingering hesitation she always had
Of gathering up any untidiness and clutter,
Assembling order in the chaos of anyone’s given day.
I noticed she’d tidied the ground around me
Clearing a path to where I should now go sit.

Sitting so still,I turned ever so slightly
Allowing her gentle light to bath my face.
All the while, silent tears escaped
In the knowing that on this miraculous day,
Her soft beauty unveiled itself to me once more,
Finding us now both in a new space, and place in time.

What a beautifully serene write, Sharon. You seem to have found the right moment and the right space for both of you to reconnect.

Kacy, I swear it was a very spooky moment, but around this angel you get used to this though!  LOL, but it was worthy of a write, or I tried.  My muse is on vacation it seems.  Thank you, and hope all is well with you and Sara.

What a beautiful piece of writing from your loving heart for Willow. When I got to the graphic, I literally got goosebumples!

Your poems for your friend in spirit, are some of my personal favourites.

Sharon, I read without the picture even more intrigued. Checked the edit and found I was correct it was to be illustrated. Went back to the poem and there it was. Perfect. Thanks.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

You are all so very kind to read the musings of my dear friend, thank you all so much.  Oh, and Bluesy - she is the other half of my heart actually, and always will be. One day I am sure not too far away it will be whole again when once again we get to play like children.

I am so glad you enjoy my Willow poems, really!  It is nice to know the warmth of her is just outside my windows, with winter on the way.  I have VERY cranky HUGE trees  out back here, dancing some kind of modern dance today.  Very scary to see a huge cedar bend that far!  I know she will calm them with her Willow ways of ballet, or I can hope at least?

I can't lose being watched over by Willow out there in the woods, and my "Kit Fairy" that Kit gave to me watching out for us both from her vantage point now can I?  Here is how high up the trees I now live - that is why I call this my birdhouse. These red cedars are approx. 60m tall (about 200 feet.)

God bless.

Moving out and on definitely does not mean leaving things behind if you don't wish to.  I always pack up my memories and bring them along for the ride.  I really enjoy writing about her as it makes her more vivid in my mind each time I do.  Thanks for the read as always.
