my breath freezes, a warm meets cool reaction
canada sends its love from the north, arctic gifts
at least the stars seem clear and comfortable
their close nit galaxy's of sparkling life
in the silence of this november night

the body of your dreams
i am thinking of the chances we met
the soft caress of your words are held close
she lulls the wolf of white and grey, the shadow play
into a new world of warm fires and welcoming desire
reading under low lights , i found the beginning
a hidden doorway to your heart
flowers and a note that would express a smile on your lips
a sweet rose and  a sensual kiss
that's what i would do for you
...all in a heartbeat

Wolf

"she lulls the wolf of white and grey, the shadow play
into a new world of warm fires and welcoming desire
reading under low lights , i found the beginning
a hidden doorway to your heart"

Now that is good romantic poetry!

This poem hints at what I have been thinking about lately---how human beings must tie the physical with the spiritual, speak of it in their language... fancy cars and boats will never take the place of the "wolf, white and grey" whose image as a totem cannot be remotely aped by fancy cars or diamond rings.

Mother earth loves poetry like this,
and so do I...

the entire poem leaves me breathless, but this, this was the ultimate...

she lulls the wolf of white and grey, the shadow play
into a new world of warm fires and welcoming desire
reading under low lights , i found the beginning
a hidden doorway to your heart

like coming home, isn't it?

smiles and hugs, for a marvelous write.

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...
