Bewitched

The night that clings,
the smoothed black,
a shapely elm, deeply notched
to better keep
secrets dark
as a flight of geese
across the moon's face,
deep within October's closet
these, and more
hang
latent.

While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?

Martie, M, and Enchantress ... Thank you for taking a moment. Alas, I think that this particular offering needs more like ... an hour. Much to tinkering to do I'm afraid. But thank you anyway. Bob

I enjoyed the visual imagery, the sight of a flight of geese against the fall moon. Nice!
