In Spring there will be Wild flowers

Today we scatter run the breeze
black flecks of life in box of sun and seed
the grandchildren stir the air
while all the time Michelle is watching there

Sit by pond and throwing rocks with plop
a sound drugged with water has begun
what would you call this need to toss
larger and still larger rocks into the froth?

With sun on face in warmth abide the day
October brings to river living gifts that stay
and the sound of riffled water is a touching start
that runs her beginning again within my heart

Watch the way the ripples speak her name
saying how forever love is still the same
out they pass along the cliff and far
never ending circles writing how we are
---------
with love to Michelle on her birthday

You call them...

promises.

Happy Birthday, Michelle. This is a very special year for your mother...she is on her way to making some wonderful decisions about her life...so you watch over her, now...

and guide her toward her destiny!

Out of a most touching write I find these lines most meaningful:

"Watch the way the ripples speak her name
saying how forever love is still the same
out they pass along the cliff and far
never ending circles writing how we are"

May your time of remembrance be as Michelle would wish it to be.

Fond wishes, Martie.

Aw Michelle, How loved you always were and still are. Bless your mama's tender broken heart. And may there be blooms in the spring to reflect in the ripples.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

yes...Happy Birthday to Michelle...

you know when you write for her, you get me so emotional, it's very hard to give a reply that reflects that.

Exquisite.....I'm so glad you posted this.

I see a birthday here, a very special one; I also see a re-birth day. Congratulations on all three -- that you celebrate, that you write, and that you grow.

"Watch the way the ripples speak her name
saying how forever love is still the same"

Some poetic lines fit perfect in the theme...these two are in that class, the class of high excelence...script like this explain why I love poetry...

Though the lyrics contain sad music, they are still beautiful...
Thank you for your heart expression.

Beautiful Martie, it is with inexpressable sadness or maybe it's with an emotion that has no name. That we celebrate the live's of our children that we can on longer see or touch. But as you so beautifully remind love cannot die, that it is our unbreakable connection to a precious life that has only taken another form.

Oh my Martie, I know she feels the love that is for certain.  This was simply a feather's touch to a daughter's soul.  Beautiful!

I was wondering, sweet Marite, and I thought that you would know.

I was given the gift of wildflower seeds, and should I be scattering them now?

I'd like to be a proper lady, yanno, like you, in a flower shop.
