You bare the mark of sadness on your soul
The heart that beats within you has lost its warm rhythm
Your beauty still shines through

But just like the fall in October
When the leaves of each tree become gold
It is always followed by a bitter cold

I pray that winter does not find you in this state
The gloom alone could douse the fire you hold
Bringing a darkness unknown to your heart leaving a sad mold

I ask that your memories burn bright of the happy times
Allow those to take flight rising from the melancholy depth like a balloon
To a resurrected heart that beats to a blissful tune

Leaving the sadness to linger away
Bring the hope back your way once you do that
Life will cleanse your soul slowly starting today

I felt the cleansing herbs of this song...very lovely and postive, youthful hands smiling....
