It is not easy
when I am here
in this solitary
place and
space of mind

the emptiness
surrounds me
until it is absorbed
through every pore

rushing
through my veins
until I am left

      emotionless

staring at the walls
listening to the sounds
of silence
breaking with every
tick of clock

   praying
          for time to stop

just long enough
for me to catch my breath
to analyze
any feelings left

but there are none
to be found
here or there
I am void
of feelings
anywhere.

Left cold,
I lie within
this secluded tomb
trying to regain the warmth
of mothers womb.

I am
   voiceless,
alone with my spirit scarred
here, in this nothingness....

      it is hard.

{reposted....for my own sanity...}

live for today,
dream of the future,
and learn eternal truths from the past..

You know, of course, m'daughter...
that with every tick of the clock,
there is balance.

Otherwise, there would be no tock.

And you were never one
to be pulled
to a standstill.

For a brief moment, you might be still...

but you'll never be at a standstill!

if you don't mind me saying, I can remember once, this feeling, now, ohhh Lord, now, I am utterly mezmorized by it....how time changes the very things we most fear...I've become the who I am, b/c of this very ultimate and special place...darling, don't fight it, go with it and find the necessary purpose for it amidst your journey...

Hugs and God bless

(big angel hugs) Oh Donna, this made me cry as so many of your powerfully honest and heartfelt writes do, dearest friend, I used to fall prey to this same sort of hardness ever too often in my childhood, but then recognized I had to make an effort to free myself from the past, so because I believe I overcame all the horrors of the past, I can overcome anything, and that is what has given me a positive outllok on life now! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, your heart always sings with warmth and comfort, you are a true friend I'm always so happy to have, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
