It's always me, the wanting of,
the bleeding inside for the impossible.
I am a Country Song waiting for completion.
I hear most of me on the radio
driving to nowhere to meet no one,
watching the leaves drop their color,
feeling like those barren trees.

I wake up to peace, darkness inviting now,
spending my thoughts in seclusion,
knowing no one would buy my song.

I miss the me, I should be able to be.

M

"I miss the me I should be."

..........................

This is pretty good; there's more
of a universal "I" about it that
make's it exceptional.

Again very good.

I know exactly how you feel.

I hear most of me on the radio
driving to nowhere to meet no one,
watching the leaves drop their color,
feeling like those barren trees.

~ Expressed really well, Maureen. Thanks for sharing.

Loved those lines, Maureen.  Hey, and, I don't believe "no one would buy" your song, for one minute!  Just a matter of patience.....hugs, jo
