Of Days Each day I step some closer to The dark of dreams that blur my view Although I eat the yeast of day With sips of dew along the way But slower is my rate of climb And faster seems my state of time Each sunrise seems a rare surprise The clouds and colors of arise It draws me in the chaos roar The over lap of all the store And tumbles me a tumble weed That cannot slow my rate of speed I watch the wind the bloom of day I even watch the path of way But cannot seem to grab the ring Although I grab most everything But soon I’ll settle to the ground And get where ever I am bound |
