Western Sky's

The mountains so full of gold

beautiful moments on top of frigid peaks

above the clouds into a deep sea of the sky

out of the mist rose a sliver of a moon

among her an awesome fleet of sparkling light

It was as if you could almost touch the stars

and I just bet you did . . .

*smile*

I have never seen a Western Sky . . .
someday . . .
but you have brought one to me
in this bleak, raining NY one, for sure.

This is so delicate James.

there is the word delicate , i seem to fall into that category .... with some of my works  lol ohhh yeah,
the western skys yes , well i lived in keystone , colorado , worked at keystone ski resort as a snowmaker lol 12 noon to 12 midnight , the town alone was 9000 some feet above sea lev. and there were 3 mountains in that one resort , the tallest called the outback , and its tallest peak was 12,200 ft. that was a cool one to watch the stars from , thats where this poem was born the couds were so close they were like a blanket that tucked me in at night at times i think they were level if not lower than the ski hills , ohhh i better stop typing this is like a short story , not a reply
forgive me ron and co. lol thanks little , i'll try and see what i can pull out of my hat for more western poem story thingys ..... till then  Lataaaaa

Tonight this western sky's adorned
with gray of cloud to greet the morn,
to bring the rain to feed the fields
that winter's crop a summer's yield...

Aujussy....

thank you for the inspiration!
