Clandestine Corners Of The Heart
~*Marge Tindal*~

In the quiet of hush-come-hush
there is the gentlest of rush
That beckons me to places divine
Moments of clandestine find~

Memories of a yesteryear
that often finds a tender tear
Laying in a pool unshed
in corners of the heart in dread~

A secret place not mentioned in the rhyme
Perhaps forgotten in spill of time
Then again … when in least of expect
it chokes me, circumspect~

Leaves me breathlessly hoping to maintain
the realize of love lost in pain
Thoughts clandestine of you and me
that clamor ever … to be free~

~Sometimes the thoughts circle simply because Bill and I play Scrabble,
searching for the double meanings of this language~

Dear Marge

A great poem!  I love scrabble but I have no one that will play the game with me.  Thank you for enhancing my vocabulary!

Love Verbena xo
