Dear Source of Life
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

+*+*+*+*+*+
Mine withered hand reached
into a pocket of star shine,
and felt the beat
of mine captive heart,
lost in wishful dream.
Where must I go? What must I do?
~To feed this weary soul with
the crystal-clear waters
of His Living Well?

+*+

Dear Source of Life,
I plead of Thee,
sate this thirsty soul
from Thy eternal wellspring,
that I might rise above
mine self-imposed exile,
and sing forever more,
among Thy joyful stars.
+*+*+*+*+*+

now you have me humming

The Earth Angel experiences the sweet yearning for the Angels of Heaven, for a blessed exchange of love and light.

A beautiful prayer, dear friend.

May a stardust shower regenerate you fully!

Love and hugs.

Hi, dear kindred spirit!

I enjoy writing prayers. Actually, I suppose by now I have written a book of them! Some of them come in handy for my own sense of well-being at times!

As you well know, I am in a very happy place right now so you'd think I'd be writing a prayer of thankfulness! Go figure! Even "angels" are unpredictable! lol

Well, Angel, you do what you do for heavenly reasons, I have no doubt.  The poem found a particular right spot for me, and you probably know that, too.

I could not be happier for you, my special friend.  Please tell Alan I said hello and send a hug back, and tell him that he makes me happy because you are glowing!!!!   .....jo

Yes, that is true, lily jo. Whenever I write a poem such as this that is far from my own present state of mind, I know that I am being divinely guided to write it for one or more who may need to read it.

I do believe I understand from whence your need has risen.

Sending you lots of healing hugs and love,
Linda

You my dear, are a source of life, through your heart songs for us to learn by, and with.  Hugs you, for a lovely write, in lieu of your feelings when you wrote this, I know the confidence in you most always believes.

Lovely Lee ~

Yes, I am a believer! Even when the sky is falling down, I have faith and the eternal optimism that all is going according to the Divine Plan and will eventually be for my own good! ~ Be it lessons learned or joys yet to be reaped!

Thank you for your kind words. Each one touched my heart.

Hi, CG!

That line about the stardust, is very similar to the signature that I want to include with each post, but I don't know how to do it.

Actually, I have written several signature statements and would have liked to rotated them.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving such a nice reply.

Love & Star Light,
EA
